Who we are
Her Affirmations (Anish Moonka) operates heraffirmations.app and the Her Affirmations app for iOS. By using either the website or the app, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use them.
What this is
Her Affirmations is a website and an iOS app that deliver daily affirmations written for women. Content across both, including the affirmations themselves, is provided for general information and personal practice. It is not medical, psychological, or therapeutic advice, and it is not a substitute for care from a qualified professional. If you are struggling, please reach out to a licensed provider or a local support line.
Updates by email
- Signing up for updates means you consent to receive emails from us, confirmed through double opt-in. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.
- Updates are free. Signing up to hear from us does not create a purchase, a subscription, or any other obligation.
- The app is available on the App Store. Features and pricing may change over time, and we will keep this site current.
- Please join with your own email address. Signing someone else up without their consent is not allowed.
The app
License to use the app
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to download and use the Her Affirmations app on Apple devices you own or control, for your own personal, non-commercial use. This license sits alongside Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement and the App Store’s Terms of Use, which also govern your use of the app. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, redistribute, or extract the app’s content or code, except where the law expressly allows it.
Subscriptions
Her Affirmations offers optional auto-renewing subscriptions, currently a yearly plan and a weekly plan, with an occasional discounted yearly welcome offer, for the full affirmation library, every theme, and every reading voice. Prices are shown in the app and may vary by region. A few things apply to all of them:
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm a purchase.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- If a plan includes a free trial, it converts automatically into a paid subscription at the end of the trial unless you cancel before it ends. Apple allows one introductory offer per subscription group per Apple ID.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription any time in your iPhone’s Settings app, under your name, then Subscriptions.
- Apple processes every payment, so refunds are handled by Apple under its own policies. We don’t have access to your payment details and can’t issue refunds ourselves.
What the affirmations can, and can’t, do for you
Her Affirmations is a companion, not a clinician. Every line in the app is written to be honest and gentle enough to sit with on an ordinary day or a hard one. It is not medical advice, mental health treatment, therapy, or a diagnosis of any kind, and using the app is never a substitute for care from a licensed doctor, therapist, or counselor.
If you are in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, please contact a crisis line or emergency services where you live, right now. An app cannot hold what a trained person can. For anything heavy but less urgent, please don’t let a phone be the only place you bring it. We built this for the ordinary weight of a day, not to replace the people who can help carry the heavier ones.
Intellectual property
The content on the site and in the app, including the affirmation library, the audio recordings, the themes and artwork, the name Her Affirmations, and the overall design, belongs to us. You are welcome to save, print, and share individual affirmations for personal use with attribution. Republishing whole collections, scraping our content for commercial use, extracting audio or artwork from the app, or presenting our content as your own is not permitted.
Acceptable use
Don’t attempt to disrupt the site or app, probe their infrastructure, submit automated signups, circumvent or tamper with subscription or purchase mechanisms, or use either in any way that violates applicable law.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The site and app are provided as is, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of either. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product evolves. The current version always lives at this page, with its effective date above. Continued use of the site or app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
