Who we are

Her Affirmations (Anish Moonka) operates heraffirmations.app, a pre-launch website for an upcoming iOS app. For anything in this policy, write to hello@heraffirmations.app.

What we collect and why

Your waitlist email

When you join the waitlist, we collect your email address. We use it for one purpose: to send you early access to the app and occasional notes about the build. The legal basis for this under the GDPR is your consent, which you give by submitting the form. Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect immediately.

Waitlist emails are stored and processed by Brevo (brevo.com), our email provider, acting as a processor on our behalf.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand site traffic in aggregate: which pages are visited, roughly where visitors come from, and what devices they use. This involves cookies and similar identifiers set by Google. We do not use analytics data to identify you personally, and we do not run advertising pixels on this site.

Infrastructure

The site is hosted on Vercel, and our domain and DNS are managed through Cloudflare. Like any hosting providers, they process IP addresses and request metadata in server logs as part of serving the site securely.

What we don't do

Your rights

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have the right to access, correct, delete, and export the personal data we hold about you, to withdraw your consent at any time, and to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request its deletion, and to correct it. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined in the CCPA, and we will never treat you differently for exercising your rights.

To exercise any of these rights, email hello@heraffirmations.app. We respond within 30 days.

Retention

We keep waitlist emails until the launch cycle ends or you unsubscribe, whichever comes first, after which they are deleted from our email provider. Analytics data is retained for 14 months, the standard Google Analytics 4 setting, and then deleted automatically.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

The iOS app, a forward-looking note

The Her Affirmations iOS app has not launched yet. When it does, it will handle additional data, such as your onboarding answers and subscription status, and this policy will be expanded to cover the app in full before it reaches the App Store. Joining the waitlist today involves only what is described above.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update it here and revise the effective date. For meaningful changes affecting waitlist members, we will tell you by email first.
